Ricky Gervais, Benedict Cumberbatch and the Osbornes are the big names behind the selfies promoting a cancer awareness fundraiser featuring our very own Mark Chandler climbing Greenwich’s O2 on Monday.
The Big C Challenge urges people to take on any challenge beginning with the letter C throughout September.
The aim of the campaign is to challenge cancer – The Big C – by getting sponsored to do anything from going caffeine free or hold a car boot sale.
More than 70 celebs are highlighting the campaign by taking C selfies such as Fearne Cotton, Amir Khan, Lizzie Yarnold, Denise Van Outen, Michael Sheen and Chris Eubank.
Over the last few months the Big C has travelled around London visiting places beginning with C like Cutty Sark and the House of Commons to raise awareness The official launch is taking place at the top of the O2 on Monday where staff and fundraisers from the Royal Marsden will be climbing the iconic building as part of their own Big C Challenge.
