The Mayor of Dartford has taken on the 'ice-bucket challenge' - and has nominated fellow councillors to take part in the online trend.
Cllr Avtar Sandhu MBE posted a video on Facebook of Dartford Council leader Councillor Jeremy Kite pouring a bucket of ice-cold water over his head on August 27 in a bid to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
Cllr Sandhu is seen thanking his brother-in-law Tej Randeva for 'nominating' him to take part in the fundraising craze before nominating Dartford councillor David Mote to post his own video.
The mayor said: "I'd like to thank my brother-in-law for my nomination.
"My money will be going to Cancer Research."
The ice-bucket challenge went viral earlier this month, with people posting videos on social media sites and nominating others to do so before donating £5 to charity.
