They say the early bird catches the worm, and this little chap is living proof of that.
Staff at the Cancer Research Awareness Roadshow were lost for words this morning when their first patient was a little bird eager to get a check up at Woolwich.
The pop-up clinic opened their doors opposite Woolwich Arsenal station at General Gordon Place when staff tweeted: “First visitor of the day, left a parting gift too.”
Cancer Awareness nurse Hannah MacDonald said: "We laughed, particularly when it deposited in the roadshow logistics manager's coat!"
