A sense of deja vu gripped St Paul's Cray this morning after Waste4Fuel's huge mountain of rubbish caught fire again, sending smoke billowing across neighbouring roads.

The infamous Cornwall Drive site, where work is now being done to remove some of the rubbish, regularly goes up in flames and has cost the London Fire Brigade upwards of £650,000.

This morning, the fire brigade was called at 5.30am and the incident was declared over at 6.22am.

But smoke has been reported in the area, blowing across the road on the Sidcup By-Pass Road at Cray Road.
