Police are appealing for the public's help after an iPhone was snatched from a woman's hands on a train at Eden Park station, Bromley.

CCTV images have been released of two men officers believe will be able to help them, after the incident on the 7.55pm London Bridge to West Wickham service on June 19 - the night England played Uruguay in the World Cup.

Detective Constable Denis Mahoney, of British Transport Police (BTP)'s robbery squad, said: "A 33-year-old woman was travelling alone in one of the middle carriages.

"As the train pulled into Eden Park, a man leant over her shoulder, grabbing her iPhone out of her hands.

"When she turned round, she saw two men running from the train."

BTP officers met the train when it arrived at West Wickham station and took a statement from the victim.

Do these pictures ever get into the evening standard or metro as well? If not perhaps they should where there is a much wider audience and more chances of recognition.

Hope someone does give up their names, sick of people who expect us to either pay for them or see something they want and just take it.

At least the CCTV images are nice & clear; makes it much more likely they'll get caught.

Same old 'chip on ya shoulder' street-robbery suspects

If I ever saw a picture of my offspring in the local paper relating to an incident like this, I would shop him in. Let's hope the parent(s) does the right thing. Who gives them the right to take something that doesn't belong to them!!!

Me too, but scum like this have parents who have taught them how to behave.....so I don't think this is going to happen.

What can one say but as per usual, it is the ones that have all but want more. Good photos of them though, wonder if they will get caught. Better still what lenient sentence will our good judges give them I wonder?

You don't wanna wake up so the judge will go easy on them.

Freemason judges love these types, the more money the system makes.
