A person had to be cut out of their vehicle in Thamesmead after the car flipped over on to a rounbdabout.
The fire brigade was called out at 11.55pm on Saturday (August 16) to reports of the accident at the roundabout linking White Hart Avenue, Central Way and Western Way.
According to the brigade, the car seemed to have hit part of the street furniture in White Hart Avenue before overturning and ending up on the roundabout.
A spokesman said: "One person was trapped. We released them and they were removed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service."
Police said his injuries were not life-threatening
His vehicle was recovered by police and the roads were fully reopened at around 7am the next morning.
