Memory of a free festival at Croydon Road Recreation Ground from 1pm to 7pm on Saturday

David Bowie and The Beckenham Arts Lab organised a legendary Free Festival 45 years ago and it is being revived again on Saturday in order to raise money to save the bandstand, with performances from people who played on the day, artists from different genres, food and drink and a Bowie tribute. Sadly the free element is a thing of the past and entry costs £5.
