Young Kent musicians got an early chance to play with one of the world’s eminent violinists on the radio ahead of a concert at the end of the month.

Members of Kent County Youth Orchestra played with prodigy Chloe Hanslip on the BBC Radio Kent breakfast show on Wednesday (July 30) and gave presenter Phil Harrison a brief lesson in how to play the violin.

Twenty-six-year-old Chloe, who had played in all of Europe’s major concert halls by the age of 10, will join the orchestra’s Summer Concert on August 30 at Mote Hall in Maidstone.
