Kent firefighters have tackled a blaze in Dartford the size of seven football pitches.
Fire crews were called to reports of five hectares of corn alight in a field off Hawley Road near to the Questor Industrial Estate at 2.30pm.
Six fire engines were sent to the scene.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters dealt with a fire in a field of standing corn and are using hose reels, fliexi packs and beaters to put out the blaze."
The blaze was under control by 3.30pm.
