Young Forest Hill artists have been inspired by one of the greats to create their own pieces as part of a national project.
Pupils from Kilmorie School produced work the paining Saint Michael Triumphs over the Devil by Bartolomé Bermejo as part of an initiative by the National Gallery.
While some children did their own interpretation of the painting, other ideas included a hanging installation. The works were exhibited at the school for the end of term.
And all the students learned about the history of the 1468 painting, presumed to be a central panel of an altarpiece from the church of San Miguel in Tous, near Valencia.
Key Stage 2 leader Kate Glasheen said: "It really works having that one picture to inspire them. Every single child in every year group had a different idea about what to do with it."
