A man in his 30s and a 15-year-old girl were arrested in Catford this morning on suspicion of possessing cocaine and heroin with a believed street value of around £1.5 million.
Officers from Whitefoot Safer Neighbourhoods Team entered the Torridon Road property at 8am and discovered drug packages in various rooms and in an area of the garden following reports of suspected drug activity.
The drugs, believed to be crack cocaine and heroin, were found alongside mixing agents, scales and syringes, and drug paraphernalia was found in a vehicle linked to the address.
Cash was also found and seized at the property.
The two people arrested are currently being held in custody.
Matt French, of the Whitefoot Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said: "We acted on local intelligence and what we found today is one of the largest hauls of drugs ever discovered in Lewisham."
