A three-year-old boy fell 12 feet out of a window in Dartford.

The toddler was not injured in the fall and was left with a split lip. 

He was taken to hospital to be checked over after the incident on Tuesday just before 1pm.

Police, the air ambulance and ambulance crews were called to the scene in Temple Hill Square.

A woman in her twenties, who didn't want to be named, said: "There was a helicopter, air ambulance and forensics at the scene."

"He was three-years-old, only a little toddler."

A Kent Police spokesman said: "We were called at 12.47 on 22 July following a report of a child sustaining injuries in Temple Hill Square, Dartford.

"A child was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.

"Officers attended but there will be no further police action or involvement."

A worker at Temple Hill Wines said: "We saw police cars and the air ambulance.

"He is a happy little boy and we see him all the time. He was back to running around and it was as if nothing had happened.

"He was back to his happy little self."
