Over 300 children had a great afternoon in the sun as they attended the Upton Primary School inflatable fun day in Bexleyheath.

With an amazing mixture of bouncy castles to kids enjoyed bouncing for the whole afternoon and helped raise over £2,800 for the Iris Avenue school.

The school also want to raise enough money to buy new playground equipment and to renew their school garden.

Prieya Chawla-Lidbury, 34, of Upton Road, Bexleyheath, the event organiser said: "The event was a fantastic day all-round.

"We are grateful to everyone who ignored the dismal weather predictions and turned up to support the event."

The primary school has annual fundraisers throughout the year such as their Halloween and Christmas fetes and in the past has raised enough money for new cameras and iPads and the inflatable fun day has been no exception.

The event was sponsored by Bexleyheath estate agents Anthony Martin and organised by Upton Primary Parents Association.
