The driver of a speeding, stolen car hit five other vehicles in Catford before fleeing, leaving two women still inside.

Police were called to Sangley Road at around 1am this morning (July 11) following reports of a collision between a car and several other vehicles.

When officers arrived on scene, two female passengers were still inside the crashed silver Ford Focus.

Both women were arrested for allowing themselves to be a carried in a stolen vehicle.

They are currently in custody.
