The air ambulance landed in a Brockley school playground yesterday (July 7) as a motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

Emergency services were called to Brockley Road at 6.08pm after reports a motorcyclist had collided with a cyclist.

Two ambulance crews arrived on the scene while London's Air Ambulance landed in the grounds of neighbouring Beecroft Primary School.

Paramedics treated one patient, a man reported to be in his 20s, for ankle and pelvic injuries.

He was taken as a priority to the major trauma centre at King's College Hospital.
