Street Feast at Lewisham Model Market, Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm to midnight

For 15 weeks, street food vendors and micro-diners will take over the old model market on the High Street for some top notch grub. A wood panelled shack will serve rum, an old hair salon will pour shandies and a you can pick up slow smoked barbecue in an old record shop. Entry’s free before 7pm, £3 after. Bellingham Festival at Bellingham Green, from noon to 4.30pm on Saturday (June 28)
Expect plenty of family fun, with live performance, sports and dance activities, arts workshops, face painting, stalls and food.
African Drumming at the Horniman Museum, from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday (June 28)

French Market in Catford Broadway, from 9am to 6pm to Friday, June 27
The market goes French for the day with the addition of a special market selling cheeses, breads, pastries and other gallic goodies, as well as the usual array.
Mayplace School Summer Fair in Woodside Road, Bexleyheath, from noon to 3pm in Saturday (June 28)
Enjoy family fun including raffles, food and events. EastEnders Lauren Branning, aka actress Jacqueline Jossa is the special guest.
Demelza’s Summer Fair, in Broadway, Bexleyheath, from 9am to 5pm on Saturday (June 29)
A variety of stalls will sell arts and crafts, jewellery and sweets, while there is also face painting and a raffle. Proceeds go to the hospice.
ZamRam Walk, from Canal Road in Higham, from 10.15am on Saturday (June 28)
The (approximately) 4 mile walk on the marshes around Higham will raise money for the Hands of Compassion School for orphaned and vulnerable children in Zambia. Suggested donation £4. Call 01474 361977.

Corelli’s Creature Carnival in Greenwich, all July
