Charlton Athletic FC's new 2014/15 kit: What do you think?
Charlton Athletic has unveiled its striking new top for next season.
As News Shopper previously reported, the main shirt sponsor for the next two years is the University of Greenwich.
For the first time, the shirt will carry a sponsor on the back, with previous main sponsor Andrews Air Conditioning featuring across the shoulders.
The round neck harks back to the 1964 to 66 top which was worn by legends including Eddie Firmani and Keith Peacock, and has a larger amount of white than usual.
It’s out June 28 but you can pre-order it now.
For the first time since the 1969 to 70 season, the Addicks will sport red shorts and the lucky red and white hooped socks that the team wore the first time in the 1946 to 47 season, when they won the FA Cup and enjoyed top flight football.
The hoops made a comeback in 2005 to 06 when Alan Curbishley’s side finished mid table in the Premier League and reached the quarter finals of the FA Cup.
