Map of second-placed parties in local elections shows rise of UKIP in Bromley

A map showing the parties that placed second across London in the recent local elections shows the impressive gains UKIP made in the borough of Bromley.

The Nigel Farage-led party won only two seats in Bromley, both in Cray Valley West, but got a significant number of votes, finishing in second place in almost every ward.

UKIP did better in east London than anywhere else, with a smattering of Conservative, Labour, Liberal Democrat and Green making up the rest of London's second place finishers.

Whether the party can build on their achievement in next year's general election remains to be seen, with some saying their success is down to little more than protest voting.

Meanwhile arrests have been made for various election related offences in predominantly Bangladeshi Tower Hamlets.

Arrests relating to postal ballot fraud, bribery and voter intimidation have been made after the Bangladeshi Tower Hamlets First Party nearly wiped out the Labour Party.

Funny how the electoral commission and police only investigate election malpractice when the Labour Party gets done over by it's own postal ballot scam and other election tricks.

Perhaps this is because Jenny Watson the head of the Electoral Commission is a Labour Supporter and even used to be a campaigner for far-left group Charter 88.

Luving it, no make that F'IN luvin it.

After all these years I still love winding the BNP ( as irrelevant as they now are ) planks right up. Perhaps one day in the not too distant future 'Her Maj' may see fit to honour me with a OBE an MBE or even a knighthood.

Arise Sir Joe of Keston

A man can dream !!
