Photos of two bungling criminals, found guilty of kidnapping and robbery after a carjacking in Petts Wood, have been released.

David Moody, 40, of Godstow Road, Greenwich, and Danny Crawley, 33, from Sutton, were sentenced at Croydon Crown Court last Thursday (May 29).

Moody was jailed for six years while Crawley got eight years in prison.

The two kidnapped 22-year-old Charles Warr in Station Square on October 30 last year.

They also robbed him of a £75,000 Aston Martin Vantage car, a Rolex watch and £100 cash.

Mr Warr said he was approached by the pair, who were brandishing broken bottles, at around 8pm after a haircut at Millers Gentleman's Grooming.

He was driven around south east London, at what he claims were speeds of 100 miles per hour, before eventually escaping.

Moody was identified through CCTV at BP petrol station in Perry Street, Chislehurst, and arrested.

Crawley was arrested later.

The Aston Martin has not been found.

Detective Constable Paul Craig, from Bromley police, who investigated the case said: "At no point during our investigation did Moody or Crawley offer any explanation as to why the targeted this particular victim and why they kidnapped him.

"The victim described how they held broken bottles to his neck to force him into the car and keep him there and this must have been a terrifying ordeal for him.

"Two extremely dangerous criminal will now be behind bars for a considerable time."
