This fascinating short video called Britain's Little Election Week shows how Bromley residents went to the polls 67 years ago.

Part of the superb British Pathe archive, this footage was filmed in 1947 as local council elections took place.

It shows eelections posters on display as well as people going into their polling station to vote.
