An Orpington police car was smashed into by another vehicle yesterday, leaving a female officer with neck and chest injuries.
Ambulances, police and the London Fire Brigade all attended the accident in Chelsfield Lane at around 4.05pm yesterday (May 14).
A spokesman for the Met Police said a vehicle collided with a stationary police car.
An ambulance took the woman, aged 30, who was suffering from neck and chest injuries, to the PRUH as a priority.
No arrests have been made, but the road was blocked for several hours yesterday afternoon.
Witness Adam Pearson, who took this snap, tweeted: "Nasty accident on Chelsfield Lane, Orpington involving a police car. Hope the injured are ok."
