A 60-year-old Eltham man has been arrested following the murder of a man whose body was found in a lake.

Dad-of-two Neill Buchel from Dagenham went missing from his home on March 13 and was reported missing five days later.

Mr Buchel had been seen having an altercation on the day he disappeared, arguing with a group of men in a Dagenham park.

And on April 1, police were called to a lake nearby after someone spotted a human leg floating in the water.

Officers, including the Met's Marine Support Unit, attended and a body was later recovered from the lake - believed to be Mr Buchel's.

This morning (May 1) a 60-year-old man was arrested at his Eltham home.

Three other men, aged 35, 41 and 35, have also been re-arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody at separate stations across north and east London.
