More tributes have been paid to the woman who died after being hit by a train at Petts Wood station last Wednesday - named locally as Wendy Taylor from Orpington.

A 42-year-old woman, who did not want to be named, worked with Wendy, who was in her early 50s, for 10 years at the London Probation Trust.

She said: "Most people are actually still in shock at what's happened.

"She was a woman with a good heart and soul. She was a really beautiful person.

"She would always help you and listen to you - nothing was too much trouble.

"She was helpful, kind, loving and considerate. You couldn't say a bad word about her."

Cheryl wrote: "Dearest Wendy. Words cannot explain how I feel. May you be at peace now and miss you forever."
