Scheme helps parents get into better paid jobs in Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley

News Shopper: Scheme helps parents get into better paid jobs in Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley Scheme helps parents get into better paid jobs in Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley

A new scheme to help parents in low-paid, part-time jobs find better pay is being rolled out across Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley.

The aim is to help skilled mums and dads get into better paid part-time work with hours which still fit around a family.

There are 100 places up for grabs on the Department for Work and Pensions-backed scheme by Women Like Us which runs until June next year.

Women Like Us’ co-founder Emma Stewart said: “At present, too many skilled parents are in part time jobs that don’t pay enough.

“This brand new pilot will enable mothers and fathers to find new jobs that are still part time, but better quality and better paid, and a match for their skills.”

Talk loosing a grip on reality.

That just sums up how blinkered you are You quote the various definitions of a scheme from the dictionary, and you focus in on the negative one that mentions the word 'underhand'. You don't even give consideration to the fact that maybe this scheme will help some people.

Can only see this scheme benefiting certain individuals who believe they are hard done by and need preferential treatment over others more worthy of these jobs on offer.

---------
You can't help people with giving them more money when the whole system is about to crash. 1 trillion pounds (is it weight) pounds of what? 1 trillion debt fiat currency that is privatized coroporate currency is not going to last forever as people are waking up all over the world to see it for what it is.

I cant see how a word 'scheme' is going to help. I associate that word with dodgy. This whole system is scheme, ponzi scheme!!!

So I can create a 'scheme' for people to better themselves, don't the banks do this, the schemeing bar stewards.
You can't use money to help people because atm bankes are being pushed off buidings atm. Couldn't see the money heling them.
