Singing legend Helen Shapiro hosting gospel event in Bexleyheath
Singing legend Helen Shapiro is coming to Bexleyheath to host a gospel event in July.
The jazz singer, best known for hits 'Walking Back to Happiness' and 'Tell Me What He Said', will be hosting the event on behalf of Bexley Christian Life Centre.
Helen began holding gospel evenings in 1989, two years after becoming a Christian. She became wholly committed to outreach events after 42 years of constant touring at the end of 2002.
The event is taking place on Saturday, July 19 at St Peter's Church in Pickford Lane, Bexleyheath at 7.30pm.
