A 20-year-old man, whose body was found on derelict land near Gravesend, committed suicide, an inquest has heard.
Karol Michalak was reported missing on January 22 sparking a man hunt involving Kent Police and Gravesend RNLI.
The Polish-speaking youngster's body was found on derelict land off Stuart Road near the town centre on February 3.
An inquest into Mr Michalak's death took place on April 10 at Gravesend's Old Town Hall where assistant coroner Alan Blumsdon recorded a verdict of suicide after hearing Mr Michalak killed himself by breathing in helium gas.
The medical cause of death given was asphyxiation.
