Four men have been charged following a spate of violence outside a Crayford pub on Saturday night.

Police were called to the at the Bear and Ragged Staff Pub following reports of windows being smashed at the Crayford Way venue just before 10pm.

Upon arrival a police car was targeted by a group of men throwing missiles and later a man drove a short distance in a police car.

Arron Mathew Lee Stevens, 27, of Saltford Close, Erith, Aaron Edward Dwyer, 35, of Knox Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Lee Aaron Hendy, 25, of Flatford Drive, Clacton-on-Sea, Ricky Danny Craig Stevens, 24, of Saltford Close, Erith were all charged with offences under the Public Order Act.

Dwyer was also charged with criminal damage.

Stevens was also charged with taking a vehicles without the owner's consent, driving offences and criminal damage.

All four men were charged on Sunday and were bailed to appear at Bexley Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, April 29.

No officers were injured during the incident.
