10:06am Wednesday 10th January 2007

A MAN has been jailed for five years for an indecent assault on a teenage girl and a separate knifepoint robbery of a teenage boy.

Reuben Samuel, of Gunn Road, Swanscombe, was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court to three and a half years in jail for an indecent assault on a female student in Gravesend in October 2004.

He was also placed on the sex offenders' register indefinitely.

The 24-year-old also pleaded guilty to robbing a 17-year-old boy at knifepoint for his mobile phone in Meopham in September last year, and was given a consecutive 18-month sentence.
