Residents in Bromley borough are invited to walk on hot coals this month to help find a cure for breast cancer.
Charity Breast of Bromley has opened up the opportunity to 'firewalk' on Saturday April 26 at Crofton Halls in Orpington.
Participants will have the chance to be trained by motivator and firewalker Tosin Ogunnusi, who travels the world helping people "overcome their fears".
Organisation chairman councillor Ian Payne said: “This is a once in a lifetime experience to learn a new technique, master your fears and complete the ultimate challenge, while raising thousands of pounds for the fight against breast cancer."
Breast of Bromley reports that every year 50,000 women are diagnosed with the disease, with dying as a result. It hopes to see £14,000 collected for research.
The coals will be smoking hot between 3-9pm and entrants are required to pay £50 registration and raise £100 in sponsorship. Visit bniselondonevents.co.uk
