SERVICE station staff were threatened with a knife by an armed robber wearing a stocking mask this morning.
The man jumped over the counter and stole £100 cash and cigarettes from the Tollgate BP Service Station on the coastbound carriageway of the A2.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the armed raid, which happened at around 2.30am.
A male accomplice was seen standing by the main door, shouting to the robber.
The pair were then seen getting into a red Vauxhall Astra before speeding off.
Police also want to hear from a man who passed on the details of the car to service station staff.
Detective Constable Fleur Anderson said: "We are keen to speak to this man and would ask that he contacts us at Gravesend Police Station as soon as possible."
