Plumstead primary pupils dressed as their favourite sports stars for the official opening of a new state-of-the-art games area.
Timbercroft in Flaxton Road held the official unveiling this month with a visit from Mayor of Greenwich Councillor Angela Cornforth and manager of Welling FC Jamie Day.
The new area can be used for football, basketball, hockey and a whole range of other sports.
Money to fund the multi-use facility was raised by the school and it is already proving a big hit with the youngsters.
School administrator Paul Nichols said: "We've been yearning for something like for a couple of years.
"It was all installed just before Christmas and we began using it just after."
