A 69-year-old man is in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Forest Hill.

Emergency services were called out to Perry Vale on March 14 at around 1.55pm to reports of the collision - which witnesses say nearly demolished a bus stop near the All Inn One pub.

On arrival, they attended to the man, who had been hit by a car and was left with two broken legs.

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service arrived and he was rushed to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Police have arrested two men, aged 21 and 28.

They have both have been bailed to return to a south London police station in April.
