A Gravesend burglar has avoided prison after admitting stealing nearly £1,400 worth of electronics from a town centre store.
Nathan King, 27, stole four cameras and four tablet computers worth a total of £1,379.92 from a shop in the St George’s Centre on January 28.
King, of Admirals Way, Gravesend, pleaded guilty to burglary and was sentenced at Dartford and Gravesham Magistrates’ Court on February 27.
Magistrates sentenced him to 84 days in prison, suspended for two years, and ordered him to pay £300 in compensation, £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
