Two men from Bexley are having their hair shaved off for Cancer Research.
Ryan Turner, 22, of Blendon Road, has been growing his hair for a year-and-half preparing it get it turned into dread locks.
But when he found out his good friend Chris Castleton, 23, of Days Lane, Sidcup, had been diagnosed with testicular cancer he decided to have it shaved for him.
Mr Turner said: "We are good friends and when Chris told me he would lose his hair due to the chemotherapy I knew I wanted to shave my hair off with him.
"Everyone knows how much I love my hair but this is such a good cause I couldn't not do it.
"All the money we raise is going to Cancer Research.
"We are both going to be bald till May."
Both the men are having their hair shaved off for free on Saturday (March 8) at Vels Barbers in Pickford Lane, Bexleyheath from 1pm.
