A 34-year-old Grove Park man has been charged with a string of offences after an arrangement on the Gumtree website led to a man being assaulted and robbed of his van.
The robbery is alleged to have taken place in January after the victim made an arrangement to meet via the popular site.
Thomas McDonagh, of Amblecote Road, appeared in Bromley Magistrates' Court on March 4 accused of a robbery on January 19 at Mayeswood Road, Grove Park, along with assault by beating the following day in Clapham.

And he faces a further charge of robbery, along with possessing a knife or bladed article, relating to an incident in Croydon on January 27.
Finally, he has been accused of theft in Turpington Lane, Bromley, on July 9 last year.
