North Kent Police want to speak to this man after a man was punched in the face in a late night attempted robbery in Gravesend.

It was reported that a man in his 30s was walking along Pelham Road at about 1.15am on Saturday, January 25 when he noticed two men sitting on a wall.

He walked past the men and seconds later he was punched from behind, in the face.

Following this, a man stood in front of the victim and said ‘give me your money, where’s the money’.

The victim did not hand anything over and crossed the road and walked towards the town centre. The two men are thought to have walked away, in the opposite direction.

"We have released an image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with this incident and I would urge anyone who might recognise this person to contact us."
