A New Cross teen who knifed a 14-year-old to death in Lee over comments about a woolly hat has been jailed for a minimum of 14 years.

Knife-wielding Roree Cox, 18, leapt on to the 202 bus in Lee back in 2012 after Kevin Ssali made comments about Cox's brother's hat and watch.

An Old Bailey jury heard Cox shouted "Do you want me to stab you?" before knifing Kevin and then fleeing the scene.

Cox, of Wardalls Grove, had denied murder but was found guilty on January 19.

And today he was handed a life sentence and told he must serve a minimum of 14 years in jail.

Technically I should of wiped out the planet by now for the what comment's by small minded people I've had over the years about this and that.

1 rule if it makes you happy and you don't hurt anyone physically then anything goes. Trouble with some cultures their EGO's are far to big.

Serve a minimum of 14 years in jail, hardly a life sentence then is it? Like those other two scum bags who took a life just for the sake of it, let the sod rot in some grotty rat invested jail. I couldn't care less, but at least, make life mean a life sentence.
