A Sidcup woman has been charged with an assault on a Lewisham DLR train inspector which sparked a police appeal.
Anna Powell, aged 19, of Footscray, has been charged with common assault following the incident at Elverson Road station on September 25 last year.
The inspector had allegedly asked a couple to remove their dog from the train's seats and challenged them to produce a ticket.
After asking the couple to leave the train, it is claimed he was then punched repeatedly in the head and shoulder.
Powell has been bailed and is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on March 18.
