There are heavy delays across the Dartford Crossing today (FEB 27) after a crash this morning on the northbound direction involving a motorbike and a lorry.
The congestion was increased by the closure of the Blackwall Tunnel earlier today.
A Highways Agency officer told News Shopper: "An incident occurred this morning between a motorcyclist and a vehicle at around 6am.
"Three lanes were closed and the ambulance, Kent Police and our own officers attended."
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called to the Dartford Tunnel A282, near Dartford, to reports of a bike which had been under a lorry.
"It turned out it was clipped and the bike was to the side of the lorry.
"The motorcyclist suffered a minor foot injury but it was not a full on hit.
"He was assessed and treated at the scene and was not taken to hospital."
