MAN Booker Prize nominee Deborah Levy is appearing at Goldsmiths University tomorrow evening (February 25).

The author will speak about her work and the art of fiction at the free event organised by the Writers Centre.

Levy was shortlisted for the prestigious literature prize for her novel Swimming home in 2012.

Her first novel, Beautiful Mutants, was published when she was 27.

The event is taking place between 6pm and 7.30pm at the Ian Gulland Lecture Theatre in the Whitehead Building at Goldsmiths in New Cross.

At the end of last year, the first ever Goldsmiths Prize, worth £10,000, was awarded to author Eimear McBride for her novel A Girl is a Half-formed Thing.
