PHONE lines went down across North Bexley over the weekend after cuts vandals cut cables.
The vandalism reportedly took place in south east London and effected residents in the north of the borough.
A resident who didn't want to be named said: "The lines went out sometime on Saturday afternoon and a fault was found approximately 2.5 km from the Southbank exchange that was discovered to have been caused by vandalism."
BT engineers worked throughout Sunday and Monday to repair the damaged fibre cables and service wasn't fully resumed till late on Monday evening.
