A BROMLEY woman’s auction of love ended this morning with a mystery bidder pledging £621 to share a romantic evening with the sweetheart.

After putting up an eBay listing for a date with her at the start of the month, Hope Anscomb, of Valley Road, saw 16 would-be suitors put in 60 bids to claim the prize.

The 24-year-old said she doesn't know who’s won but sent off a message straight away to get in touch, adding she’s now "feeling a bit nervous" about the night.

She said: "I’m really happy to have raised so much money – over £600 is great.

"But I don’t know what to expect now. I’ve got to be a pretty good date for that much money. I need to find something to wear."

Miss Anscomb’s set to take the charity buyer to a top London restaurant on Valentine’s Day – and with the match forking out such a considerable sum who knows what they’re hoping for.

She said she’s going to ask for a photo to make sure she can find them when they meet on February 14.

The auction’s all in aid of The Autism Trust, which Miss Anscomb’s now raised around £2,000 for after a number of odd fundraising efforts.

Mo Wilson, who manages the organisation’s shop near Ascot, said it’d be great if Miss Anscomb found true love while doing so much for the cause.

She said: "Anyone would be lucky to have her. She’s such an amazing young lady – we really appreciate all she’s done for us.

"It’d be lovely if it turned into a romantic situation. She deserves a medal for all she’s done."
