A GREENWICH factory could will be redeveloped to provide 272 homes in buildings rising from three to 18 storeys.
Planning documents for the Alcatel-Lucent site, used to build submarine communication systems, in east Greenwich have been submitted to Greenwich Council by developer Cathedral Group.
The scheme will see a refurbished factory and office space, a publicly accessible 550sqm park to the north along with 12 studios, 122 one bedroom flats, 92 two bedroom homes and 46 three-bed family residences.
Vehicular access will come from Blackwall Lane and there will be limited access via Christchurch Way.
A Cathedral spokesman said: "Extensive public consultation has taken place in the immediate area, and now the planning application has been submitted, Greenwich Council will carry out their own formal consultation process and place the planning application on their website.
"It is anticipated the planning board will hear the application in the spring."
