MYSTERY surrounds a man who was found dead with head injuries at a Welling home.
Police were called to a house in Lovel Avenue at 11.21am following reports a man believed to be in his early sixties was in cardiac arrest on Wednesday.
A spokesman for Bexley Police said: "Sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Formal identification awaits and his next of kin are yet to be informed.
"A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
"The death is being treated as a non-suspicious unexplained death.
"A man and woman were initially arrested at the scene but they were quickly released without charge."
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service added: "We were called just after 11.15am to Lovel Avenue in Welling to reports of a man in cardiac arrest.
"We sent one ambulance and two single response vehicles but sadly the man was dead at the scene when we arrived.
"Crews remained at the scene until 1.45pm."
