A MAN has appeared in court after a New Year's Day fight in which three people were stabbed.
Police were called to The Row, New Ash Green, after reports of fighting between groups of youths aged between 16 and 19.
The three injured men, aged 17, 20 and 38, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Lee Prescott, of Farm Holt, New Ash Green, was charged on Tuesday with possession of cannabis, affray, assault occasioning actual bodily harm on Christopher Burroughs and wounding Mark Burroughs with intent.
The 19-year-old appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court this morning and was committed to Maidstone Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on January 15.
Prescott was remanded in custody.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident which took place between 1.30am and 2am.
