CELEBRATE Chinese New Year today and banish the January blues with these Eastern twist on a good old steak by actress and Celebrity Masterchef winner Lisa Faulkner.
Soy Chilli Marinade
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
3 tbsps. Worcestershire sauce
Crushed Chilli or Chilli Powder to taste (I use half a teaspoon of Lazy Chili which makes it pretty spicy)
1 garlic clove, minced
Salt and Pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together - I actually do in a blender to get it really well mixed - and coat the steaks . Leave at least 30 minutes, but overnight is best. Should make enough for at least 2 large steaks (or more!)
