THIS is a sweeping generalisation but it seems to me that most men don’t wash their hands after going to the toilet.

It’s not based on any sort of study, just a casual observation from places where I've used communal gents’ loos.

Having never been in a ladies’ toilet I can’t speak for the other sex but unless women are decidedly more hygienic than men I suspect there’s a good of few who don’t bother giving their hands a rinse either.

With up to 40,000 germs per square inch on the handle of a public toilet, why doesn’t everyone clean their hands? Are you a sanitary person who always washes after going to the loo and scowls at those who don’t, or are you someone who flushes and flees with grubby hands? Do you perhaps not see the point of doing it?

Keep it clean and post your comments below about whether you think washing your hands is important and whether you always do it.
