Cyclist in hospital after bus accident in Greenwich

A CYCLIST was rushed to hospital yesterday (January 19) afternoon after being hit by a bus in Greenwich.

Police were called to the accident at 2.11pm where a double decker London bus and a pedal cycle had collided on Shooters Hill Road at the junction with Hyde Vale.

The cyclist, a woman aged around 55 was taken to King's College Hospital as a priority suffering from a back injury.

Her injuries are described as not life changing.

I'm the daughter of the cyclist.
She legitimately used the crossing on her bike (it's also a cycle path at that point) and a bus cut the light just after it went red. She has severe concussion, a broken back and her foot might never recover (the bus went over it).
Rich, your response is absolutely disgusting and I sincerely hope you are never so unlucky when using a crossing.
