For this competition we’re asking you to tell what you most prized possession is, for the chance to win your very own treasure chest to keep it in!

It's easy for a home to get cluttered up from time to time - and when it comes to storage options, a cardboard box in the garage might do the job but it's hardly the most attractive choice.

This Ashburnham sleeper wood trunk is the perfect solution - not only is it the ideal place to store your belongings, but it's a beautiful, unique piece of furniture that will remain in your home for years and add a touch of class to whatever room it's in.

In partnership with Mobile Mini, we've got one of these superb pieces of craftsmanship, which usually retail at £345, to give away to a lucky reader.

News Shopper: Ashburnham sleeper wood trunk

Part of Little Tree's signature range, this handmade, hardwood trunk is made of 100 per cent reclaimed timber which is more than 150 years old. It's finished with dark oil and wax and, complete with a hand-forged rustic iron latch, it has a classic, rugged elegance that's sure to serve as a conversation piece in any home.

If you'd like to add this unique item of furniture to your home, all you have to do is tell us what the most treasured thing you own is and what makes it so special. Whether it’s got a large financial value or is just priceless in terms of what it means to you, what’s the one possession you couldn’t live, the first thing you’d grab in an emergency?

Entry is free but can ONLY be done through our Treasure Chest Competition Facebook app - you will be prompted to like News Shopper on Facebook, if you haven't done so already.

Click on the 'Submit an entry' tab and tell us about your most treasured possession and why you love it so much. Try to keep it reasonably brief – a couple of sentences at the most.

As soon as entries are submitted anyone can vote for which ones they like the best, but voting will be ‘just for fun’ because at the end of the contest News Shopper will select the lucky winner based on the entry we think is the most interesting, amusing or touching.

Entries can be submitted between now and 11.59pm on January 26. After this there will be one more week for people to vote and tell us what their favourite entries are. We will then pick the winner, who will be announced the week beginning February 3.
