THESE enthusiastic estate agents swapped selling houses for the ring of the tills as they ran the chYps Children’s Hospice at Home charity shop in Crayford for a day.

Teams of Ward & Partners staff pitted themselves against each other in an Apprentice-style challenge to see who could make the most profit.

The enthusiastic troupes set up shop in the Crayford Road store and raised £1724.19.

The Crayford team lost out on the top spot by just £3.11 to the Bexley team who raised £1727.30. Head of retail Tim Stewart said: "I’ve been so impressed with the staff from Ward & Partners.

"Their enthusiasm and creativity boosted our footfall and profit.

"We hope this challenge has increased our charity profile and we hope the community will visit one of our shops soon to either donate goods or snaps up some bargains."
